Step by Step instructions of how to replace your existing cabinets
1.Browse our cabinet lines and determine which style and color you want
2.Measure your current cabinets that you want to replace
1.Measure the Height and Width – Depth is usually standard but measure this just to be sure
2.Note whether this is a wall cabinet, a base cabinet, a sink base, pantry etc…
3.Use your measurements from step 2 to find the exact size replacement on the quote form. Fill in the quantity of all cabinets and submit for pricing
1.Don’t forget your accessories and trim, kickplate, base molding, door panels, skins, etc…
4.Once satisfied with your quote, use the order form to order and pay for your cabinets
5.While you wait for your cabinets to arrive do the following:
1.If replacing countertops, use the guide in links page to measure counters
2.Find a local company and pick out your countertops – use your rough measurements to get a quote – they will come out and template once your base cabinets are installed
3.Gather all your tools (see recommended tools in Tool list and links page)
6.Once your cabinets arrive, place them in a garage or spare room until you’re ready to assemble – make sure you review your invoice and have everything you ordered
7.Demo time – remove all cabinets
8.Prep Area – fix any drywall, re-paint the walls, etc…
9.Install Uppers
1.I like to start on the uppers so I have room to work underneath.
2.Start in a corner or at the end of a cabinet run
10.Install Bases – ensure level as can be for counters
11.Countertop template
12.Do some finishing touches while waiting for counters
13.Have counters installed
14.Update that backsplash – Tiling is pretty easy – You CAN do it
15.Finish up – sink and faucet, hardware, trim, etc…
